Drivers using Tow Scout

You don't need an account. Your saved vehicle, kit checklist and theme stay in your own browser.

We only read your location when you tap “Share my location”, and we don't store it.

AI Mechanic messages and any photo you attach are sent to our AI provider to answer you.

Tow companies applying to be Featured Providers

We collect what you enter: company and contact details, address, phone, email, website, business qualifications, insurance status and coverage limits, and licensing details (city/state licensed in and license numbers).

We also record your SMS/email consent, the exact consent wording and version you agreed to, the time, a one-way hash of your IP address, and your browser type, as proof of consent.

We use this information only to review your application, contact you about it and about your membership.

Only authorized 1-800-AUTOTOW staff can view applications. We don't sell your information.

Voice input

If you use “Talk to fill this form”, your speech is turned into text to fill the form. The audio and transcript are processed in memory and not saved.

Texts and emails

With your consent, we send verification codes and messages about your application and membership. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or HELP for help. Use the unsubscribe instructions in an email, or write to us, to stop emails.

Retention

We keep provider applications while we evaluate them and for as long as you're a member, plus a reasonable period for our records and legal obligations. Verification codes are stored only as one-way hashes and expire after 10 minutes. You can ask us to delete your application at any time.
